Kelly Klug, Director of Children’s Ministries
What brought me to MCC?
I was invited by one of my closest friends to visit ‘Fire Power,’ which was the high school ministry at the time.  At that moment I found a core set of people and friends that had the same morals and outlook on what life was about.  After being a regular attendee, my family started coming to church here and have never left!
Brief description of my office position.
I am director of Sunday Morning Kid’s ministries.  This umbrella falls over Registration, Sunday School, God’s Garden, and Kids Church.
Where I grew up?
Mechanicsville!  I was born here, away for college (GO HOOS!) and a short season in Colorado for 5 years, and now have the blessed privilege of living in the home that I grew up in, my great-grandfathers home-place.  What a sweet treasure to have deep roots to the area.
Personal Info:
My husband Dan and I have celebrated ten years of marriage this year.  Did you know we met in Colorado as ski instructors?  We have three young children, 9 chickens, and 2 beagle pups.  We have also just started camping and found that to be a great way to ‘touch’ the outdoors but with air condition sleep!  I love to be creative, but more than that, I love showing, teaching, and watching others have new experiences.   I have been a Christ follower since I was 13 years old and I am deeply in love with the Creator of Life, my Savior today.
