Mitch Bennett, Outreach/ Finance
work: 804-746-4303
In 1989, my wife Debbie and I relocated our family to Richmond from San Francisco for a job transfer. We attended a few churches in the area before discovering MCC, a place that offered a Christ-centered environment for our growing family. From our first visit, we felt at home and it has been home, to us, ever since. Now, as we find our children grown and our nest empty, we have experienced a shift in focus that led me to accept a position on staff. We love MCC and are grateful to serve a church that has blessed our family all these years.
Personal Information:
Debbie and I have four incredibly talented children and three exceptional granddaughters. One thing that brings me joy and a sense of purpose is being involved in urban outreach. I have most recently been involved with the renovation of the Robinson Theater Community Arts Center, an urban city transformation project focusing on the needs of the East Church Hill community in Richmond. Deb and I love spending our free time visiting our family, spending summer vacations in Maine, enjoying early morning walks, and searching the globe for a great cup of coffee.
