What Brought Me to MCC?
I have been attending MCC since I was born and have been blessed to be able to call this my home church ever since.
The Road to Student Ministries
Little did I know that in the summer of 2013 when I decided to Intern under our Missions Pastor, Mitch Bennett, that God was aligning my steps for when I would come on staff in September of 2014 to work for the Student Ministries department. During my entire job search process God kept reminding me of Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I am thrilled to be back here at MCC getting to work alongside our staff and the students.

My Role
I am the Administrative Assistant for the Student Ministries Department, this includes our Young Adults, High School and Middle School ministries. I organize details of weekly services, special events, and all MCC mission trips.
About Me
I was born and raised here in Mechanicsville, Virginia; I graduated from James Madison University in May 2014 with a major in Hospitality Management. I had the privilege of getting to room with my childhood best friend throughout the whole process, which was a complete blessing from the Lord. Living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley for 4 years made me fall in love with the mountains! In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, rockclimbing, drinking copious amounts of coffee, road trips, and laughing. Life is too short not to enjoy it while you can.
