What brought me to MCC?
After serving on the staff of a local church as Worship Leader for years, I began to feel like I was being led to another place to worship and serve.   At that time, I had no idea where God would lead my family, but knew we were called to be a part of a church family that was passionate in worship and missions.  In January of 2010, I attended MCC thinking this would be the first of a string of churches I would visit while trying to discern God's voice and promptings.  Well...by God's timing I'm sure, the Sunday I visited just happened to be a Missions Sunday!  I was astounded by the call for missions the Lord has placed on this church and by the tremendous response to that calling.   God also spoke to me and blessed me in worship that day beyond what words can describe.  Needless to say, this ended up being the only church I visited.  My family and I became members in June of that same year.    While going through the membership process (waiting to attend the Membership Class), the church advertised my current position.  I almost cried as I read it.  My background lined up well wtih the desired experience and the part-time schedule was perfect for this 40+ mom of a (then) 2-year-old!  God again provided and I was hired.  I am SO thankful for MCC and the opportunity to call this my church home as well as my place of employment!
