Faith Promise Sunday
January 14, 2018, (all day)
What is Faith Promise?

The gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to change lives. Together, as a church, we obey His Great Commission by reaching out with God’s love to others. At Mechanicsville Christian Center, focus is key to our missions strategy. Our City (Mechanicsville & Richmond, VA), Our World (Niger, Africa), Our Own (those sent out from our local church and their ministry projects) is the vision that drives the MCC urban and world missions teams. We believe, anywhere in the world, the faithfulness of one individual can make a difference.

MCC participates annually in Faith Promise, which helps financially support our missionaries and enable ministries to do the work of the Kingdom. Faith Promise is not a pledge. It is a commitment that arises out of a conversation with God, asking Him what you might give to missions during the coming year. Faith Promise is simply the decision one makes to trust God, by faith, to supply the finances needed to fulfill a Faith Promise. Our hope is that all who call MCC their church home will participate. Faith Promise gives us the opportunity to respond to Christ’s command to “go and make disciples of all people.” Faith Promise is something we can do as individuals and as families. Our combined giving makes it possible for many people to be reached with the gospel and many lives to be eternally changed by the power of God.

Please plan to join us on these two very important Sundays and prayerfully consider your financial participation in Faith Promise in this new year.
