Matt & Andrea Hoole
Matt Hoole serves as the Lead Pastor of Mechanicsville Christian Center. He grew up in Oregon and felt a call to full-time ministry when he was 17 years old. That calling eventually led him to Eugene Bible College and into ministry with the Assemblies of God, where he is ordained.
Matt met his wife, Andrea, while she was attending Bible College, and the two have been serving in ministry together since they were married in 1999. What began as a shared calling quickly grew into a life of serving the church and helping people grow in their faith.
Matt joined the MCC team in 2008 as the Worship Pastor and served in that role for many years before becoming Lead Pastor in 2020. MCC has been home for the Hoole family for nearly two decades, and Matt and Andrea are grateful that their four children were able to grow up in the life of this church. Today, their kids are adults who love Jesus and still call MCC home, which Matt and Andrea consider one of the greatest blessings of their lives.
Outside of church life, Matt enjoys spending time with his best friend Andrea, being with family, and getting out on the golf course whenever he gets the chance.
